Predrag Bubalo

Predrag Bubalo (Предраг Бубало) became the Minister of Industry and Privatization in the Government of Serbia in October 2004, replacing Dragan Maršićanin. Before that Bubalo was the Minister of International Economic Relations.

He was the Minister of Trade and Services in the Government of Serbia between 2007 and 2008. He was succeeded by Slobodan Milosavljević.

The Anti-Corruption Council of Serbia has made public, on 3 September 2010, a list of persons facing criminal charges related to the privatization of the Port of Belgrade company. The criminal complaint was filed three months earlier against 17 persons for abusing their official position during the 2005 privatization. Among them are former minister Predrag Bubalo, officials of the Privatization Agency of Serbia, and businessman Milan Beko.

He was born in 1954 in Vladičin Han. He received a PhD from the University of Novi Sad's Faculty of Law. Since 2002, Bubalo has been the general manager of Kikinda-based foundry Kikinda. He is married with two children.
